Terms of use
These terms are the agreement between you and Discoverly when you use the Discoverly app, the partner console or this website. Please read them; by using the Service you accept them.
Last updated 21 October 2026
1. The Service
Discoverly lets members check in at partner cafés, hubs and coworking spaces, see who else is there, connect, chat and ask the room for help. Venues use the partner console to manage their page, QR codes, menus and posts. The Service is currently in beta, so features may change, and it may sometimes be unavailable.
2. Who can use Discoverly
You must be at least 18 years old and able to enter into a binding contract. You may have one personal account, registered to a phone number you own. You are responsible for what happens on your account, so keep your phone and sign-in codes to yourself and tell us straight away if you think someone else has access.
3. Your profile
Tell the truth about who you are and what you do. Do not impersonate anyone, use a name that is not yours, or link a LinkedIn profile that is not your own. You keep ownership of what you post. You give Discoverly a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free licence to store, display and share it within the Service, as your settings allow, for as long as it stays on Discoverly.
4. How to behave
Discoverly is for genuine professional connections. You must not:
- harass, threaten, stalk, intimidate or discriminate against anyone;
- send spam, unsolicited sales messages or chain messages, or post the same ask repeatedly;
- post content that is illegal, sexual, hateful, violent or misleading;
- use the Service to find, follow or approach someone who has not chosen to be visible to you, or try to work out anyone’s exact location or phone number;
- check in at a venue you are not at, or use fake locations, emulators or other tools to get around how check-in works;
- copy, scrape or collect other members’ data, or use bots or automated accounts;
- try to break, overload or reverse engineer the Service, or get around its privacy and security controls; or
- break any law, or anyone else’s rights.
We may remove content, limit features or suspend accounts that break these rules, and we may report illegal activity to the authorities.
5. Meeting people
Discoverly helps you meet people in public places, but we do not check who members are or what they say about themselves, and we are not responsible for how anyone behaves on or off the Service. Use your judgement, meet in the venue, and report anyone who makes you feel unsafe by writing to discoverly.connect@gmail.com.
6. Sample accounts during the beta
During the beta, some member accounts are samples run by artificial intelligence to show how Discoverly works. Their replies are generated automatically, may be inaccurate, and are not advice from a real person. Messages to them are handled as described in our privacy policy.
7. Partner venues
If you register a venue in the partner console, you also agree that:
- you are authorised to act for that venue, and the details you publish are accurate;
- you will display only the QR codes we issue for your venue, and only at that venue;
- you are responsible for the team members you give access to, and will remove access when someone leaves;
- your posts, menus and photos are yours to publish, and are accurate and lawful; and
- you will use member information you see in the console only to run your venue’s community on Discoverly, and never to contact, track or market to members outside it.
We may review, pause or remove a venue that does not meet these terms.
8. Our rights
The Discoverly name, logo, app and website belong to us. These terms do not give you any right to use them other than to use the Service as intended.
9. Ending your use
You can stop using Discoverly and delete your account at any time (here is how). We may suspend or close an account that breaks these terms or puts others at risk. Sections that by their nature should survive, such as sections 10 to 12, continue after an account is closed.
10. Disclaimers
The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, we make no promise that it will always be available, error-free or suitable for a particular purpose, or that any connection will lead to a particular result.
11. Limitation of liability
To the extent the law allows, Discoverly is not liable for indirect or consequential losses, lost profits or opportunities, or for the conduct of members or venues. Our total liability for any claim about the Service is limited to ₹1,000 or the amount you paid us in the past 12 months, whichever is higher. Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law.
12. Law and disputes
These terms are governed by the laws of India. Please contact us first so we can try to sort out any problem informally. If we cannot, disputes will be decided by the courts of India.
13. Changes
We may update these terms as the Service develops. We will change the date above, and for significant changes we will let you know in the app before they take effect. If you keep using Discoverly after that, you accept the new terms.
